Engineering Support Overview

Introduction

James Fisher Defence (JFD) works alongside customers to provide efficient and effective Maintenance Support solutions.

By studying test results and Operational information, JFD is able to develop and execute maintenance plans for both corrective and preventative works.

Our through-life-support solutions are available for Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV's), Submarine Rescue Vehicles (SRV's), Launch & Recovery Systems, Transfer Under Pressure systems and many more.

Testing

JFD's skilled mechanics and engineers use up-to-date technology and modern fault-finding techniques in order to test and inspect systems for sub-sea applications.

Our bases in Renfrew, UK and Henderson, Western Australia offer test facilities for Factory Acceptance Trials, Harbour Acceptance Trials and Sea Acceptance Trials, backed up by an engineering support team and surrounding infrastructure.

Facilities

JFD operates engineering facilities in the UK, Singapore and Australia. Each is fitted out with the necessary tools, equipment and infrastructure to support large and small scale engineering projects, and to support our offshore operations.

JFD can provide access to these engineering bases, as well as our numerous warehousing and storage facilities on both a short- and long-term basis.
